Dr. Huang is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and Associate Epidemiologist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Huang’s research focuses on the epidemiology of sleep and sleep disorders in large population-based studies, including the Nurses' Health Studies and the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis. His research program aims to identify causes, risk factors and mechanisms for sleep health and sleep disorders (e.g., obstructive sleep apnea), as well as the long-term impact of disturbed sleep on health (particularly cardiometabolic disease and cancer). Dr. Huang has extensive experience in evaluating biomarkers, including high-dimensional data, in relation to sleep health and other chronic disease outcomes.
