Bio:

Professor Mohammad Ashkan Moslehi is a board certified pediatric interventional pulmonologist. He is the head of the Department of Pediatric Pulmonology at Shiraz University School of Medicine. He is the chairman of the World Association for Bronchial and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP)-Pediatrics, the Board of Directors of WABIP, the co-founder and vice president of the Asian Association of Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology (APIPA), and the director of the Iranian Association for Bronchial Pulmonology and Interventional Pulmonology Group. Furthermore, he is an expert in bronchoscopy techniques, such as foreign body extraction, transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB), bronchial biopsy (BB), correction of subglottic and laryngeal bronchial stenosis, cryotherapy, APC, electrocautery surgery, dilatation balloon, bronchi Internal mass resection, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and pleuroscopy including pleural biopsy. Recently, he started to form the International Association of Pediatric Airway Team (INPAT) and became a world expert in this area. He now serves as the WABIP Award Committee (the committee is responsible for reviewing nominations and award applications for the Killian Centennial Medal, WABIP-Dumon Award, and Heinrich Becker Award for Clinical Research and Innovation).
